We received an email at www.sweatsuits.co.uk some weeks ago from a gentleman who had been frequently attending Bikram Yoga classes. He thoroughly enjoyed his classes but for work related reasons he could no longer make the alloted class times. The up side to the situation was that he had reached the compentcy levely whereby he was able to practise at home. The only problem with that idea was that it was costing him a fortune in heating the room each day in order to create the atmosphere needed for Bikram Yoga.
The gentleman had the idea of using our sweat suits to help him achieve this. I listened intently as he reasoned that it was far cheaper and safer than filling the room with candles and heaters. I found this a novel idea and the more I thought about it the more I agreed with his notion.
We assigned a member of our team who practises Yoga to experiment with the suit and see if we had developed a new niche. His findings were very positive, he was able to complete his session whilst still sweating a feeling the usual temperature rise. The thermogenic effect of the Swelter sauna suit took effect after a little as two minutes of starting the exercise. One of the most notable benefits of practising Bikram Yoga in the sauna suit as opposed to doing without it was that at the end of his session all he had to do was go to the bathroom and take off his suit over the bath and there was no excess sweat being dripped around the house. On reflection I feel a bit silly for not picking up on the idea before!
So if anyone out there is looking for a novel way to practise Bikram Yoga in a home environment and don't fancy setting their room on fire in the process they why not try using one of our sauna suits?
